Estate Cleanouts in Providence, RI
Clearing a parent's house, a long-held family home, or a property you're about to sell is a lot to take on. We remove what's left after the family has taken what they want: furniture, appliances, boxes, and everything in the basement, attic and garage.
How we approach an estate cleanout
- You decide what stays. Mark or set aside what the family is keeping, and anything going to donation or sale, before we start.
- Room by room. We clear the house top to bottom, including the attic, basement, garage and sheds.
- Watch for papers. Go through drawers, closets and boxes for documents, photos and valuables before cleanout day, and tell us about any areas you haven't checked yet.
- Broom-swept. We leave the house ready for a cleaner, a realtor or a contractor.
Who it's for
Adult children handling a parent's home, executors and estate attorneys, realtors getting a listing ready, and landlords clearing a unit after a long-term tenant. We can coordinate access by phone and email if you're out of state.
Typical cost
Whole-house cleanouts are priced by volume, usually several truckloads. Angi's 2026 guide lists a full truckload at about $600–$800 and HomeGuide about $400–$450. Call for a quote on your house; photos or a walkthrough help us give an accurate price. These are typical published ranges, not our price list.
Tell us what needs to go and where it is. We'll call you back with a quote.
How it works
- Call or send the form. (401) 626-4121 or the quote form. Tell us your town, what's going, and where it sits (curb, garage, basement, upstairs).
- Get a price. We'll call you back, ask a few questions (photos help), and give you a quote based on how much space the load takes up in the truck and what it is.
- Pick a time. We'll offer the earliest pickup window we have. You point, we lift, load and haul it away.
Frequently asked questions
Can you work with an out-of-state executor?
Yes. We can arrange access with a realtor, neighbor or lockbox and send updates by email.
How long does an estate cleanout take?
It depends on the size of the house and how full it is. We'll give you an estimate after we see photos or walk through.
Do you remove hazardous materials?
No. Paint, chemicals and fuel go to RIRRC's Eco-Depot program (401-942-1430). We'll leave them set aside.
